Why am I seeing a warning when adding Prosper’s account details?

Some banks may show a warning when adding Prosper’s account, but payments are safe

Some nominated banks are currently not recognising Prosper’s account details. As a result, you may see a warning or error message when attempting to set us up as a new payee.

Is my money at risk?

Not at all. This is a recognition issue between certain banks and our account provider and has no impact on the security of your funds. They do not affect the safety or successful delivery of your payment and you can proceed with the transfer confidently.

What should I do now?

If you see a warning, you can still proceed with your payment. However, if you’re unsure or unable to continue, please contact our support team. We’re here to help and can guide you through the next steps with full reassurance.
