Before you can fund your wallet or withdraw from it, you’ll need to link a nominated bank account. This helps us keep your money secure and ensures all payments go to and from a verified account.
Step 1: Add a Nominated Bank Account
During onboarding, you’ll be asked to fill in your personal details — including your nominated bank account.
If your bank isn’t available in the list, the system will prompt you to send us a message and upload a recent bank statement for a current account (dated within the last 3 months) showing your name, sort code, and account number.
Once verified, your account will be ready for payments and transfers to and from your Prosper Wallet.
Unable to do this in the app? No problem.
You can send us a recent bank statement for a current account (dated within the last 3 months) showing your name, account number, and sort code. Just email it to support@prosper.co.uk.
We’ll add the account for you and let you know once it’s ready. Once verified, your nominated account will be saved for all future transfers.
Step 2: Fund Your Prosper Wallet
With your bank account added, you can now top up your Prosper Wallet:
Go to your Wallet.
Select Add.
Choose how much you want to transfer.
Most bank transfers arrive the same day, though in some cases it can take up to one working day.
Can I Add More Than One Bank Account?
At this time, you can only have one nominated bank account linked to your profile. If you need to update it, you’ll need to remove the existing one first.
